  • PCG Hits The Mark With Kiwi’s DART

    BOARD CONVERTING NEWS – For President Container Group (PCG), operating an extremely large box plant is no small undertaking. With sales, design, and customer service based in its Moonachie, New Jersey headquarters and all manufacturing relegated to its massive 522,000-square-foot production facility 60 miles north in Middletown, New York, there needs to be constant communication between both operations to ensure the company’s primary goal of taking care of the customer is achieved on a daily, if not hourly basis.

  • Manufacturer will power facilities with solar farm

    TOWN OF WALLKILL – President Container, a company that manufactures corrugates boxes, will power its Town of Wallkill facilities with a solar farm.

    Through PCH Energy, LLC, the company has secured approval from the Orange County Industrial Development Agency to receive local sales tax exemptions on purchase of materials for the work.

    IDA Associate Executive Director Laurie Villasuso said the project will be good for energy savings, the environment and the economy.

    “As a result of all of their energy savings, they are going to be able to hire new workers will be able to run their facility 24/7, turn it into an operation with numerous shifts, and all as a result of the savings,” Villasuso said.

    The solar field will be constructed on 11 acres adjacent to their present facility and include 19,000 panels.
