President Container Inc., founded in 1947 by Marvin and George Grossbard, not only grew into one of the largest independent manufacturers of corrugated products in the country, but was also the seed of what has become today’s President Container Group.
From the beginning, President Container’s philosophy was simple: Always ensure complete customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and quality products.
At President Container we realized that to ensure satisfaction we must continue to expand our products and services to meet the demands of the marketplace as our customers continue to evolve.
With the emergence of warehouse clubs and increased sales revenue due to temporary point-of-purchase displays, our customer’s needs expanded beyond traditional packaging.
Hence, Artisan Display & Packaging was born. The company added graphic artists, structural designers, and project coordinators and purchased state-of-the-art equipment to meet new creative challenges. As we continued to provide high quality displays, our customers’ needs expanded as they realized they didn’t have the personnel, space or expertise to set up, pack out and distribute these displays.
To meet this growth opportunity, President Container founded Tech-Pak, a 60,000-square-foot facility committed to the assembly, pack out and distribution of point-of-purchase displays. Here we assemble your display, pack it with your product and get it to market on time.
Always seeking new services to offer our customers, President Industrial Products was introduced to customers looking for pre-made corrugated cartons, packaging materials, moving supplies, tapes and printed tapes, as well as janitorial, food service and cleaning supplies.
