President Container Group, a leading independent manufacturer of Corrugated Packaging (Sheets, Boxes, Trays, Partitions, Displays etc.) is seeking a full time experienced Payroll Administrator for its corporate location in Moonachie, NJ.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate administration of all payroll processing functions.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and administering time recording and payroll on a weekly basis for various payrolls, calculating monthly commissions, processing 3rd party payroll deductions, vacation and sick day accruals.
- Preparing month end accruals.
- Prepare for any payroll related audits or information requests.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payroll administration reports for 3rd party providers and management.
- Manage employee personal files and set up new hires in the various systems,
- Adhere to company and legislated confidentiality and privacy policies,
- Assist the Controller with any other special projects & ad-hoc requests as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years payroll processing experience, preferably using Kronos Work Force Ready, any major 3rd Party automated payroll processing systems,
- An ability to demonstrate an understanding of payroll taxes, payroll benefits and how they interact with payroll.
- Processing payrolls for at least 400 employees weekly, including Union employees, non-union and leased employees.
- Proficiency using MS Excel and Word,
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), organizational and time management skills.
